Just joined the website, know nothing about LR's, just know that since having one from January this year - I'm a convert.
Got a D3 TDV6 SE, and having problems with smoke when the turbo kicks in - think I need to change the EGR and MAF sensor - anyone know any good used part dealers? Been quoted £46+vat and £130+vat respectively by main dealer - and there are two EGR's!!!! After 4 new tyres and a tailgate lock seizing, can do without this - Help anyone please??!!??

not a new egr but a blanking kit (works for series 1 & 2) and a hell of a lot cheaper than replacing the egr.

may not be relevant but I watched a programme the other day where a d3 had the same issue of smoking a lot and it was a split hose. not sure if it was a turbo or intercooler hose but a new hose cured the problem
