this is mt first Real Landy, having had Many cars, but I must had the car has become part of my life. Really love it and think I need to try an older one and keep standard next

Used a similar carpet to office on sides, made a faux leather couple od side panels and matching seats. The end results is a very quite Landy on the road

With four boxes of dynamat, a load of carpet and all the bolt ons, the MPG may be effected but really pleased with the noise level internally

Looks a very nice Defender. Depending on what sort of use its going to get I would hold on to it, unless you intend on doing some serious off roading. Then a standard older one might be worth considering.

Afraid I will not be off roading - although it does look great fun. Built this as a project to see what all the fuss is, only problem is I am now hooked! Always been involved with old cars but these things have a heart! Lil
