Thats amazing from road tyres.

I was bringing the family home from Leicester on Sunday and took the country route from Duxford to Braintree.

There is a long hill coming down into Safron Waldon and a lorry was parked at the bottom with the driver in the passenger seat, feet up, reading a paper.

I would loved to have stopped to try and pull him up the hill, but with the family not happy I had come off the nice clear M11 and the fact it is a very steep hill I carried on.

If it was nearer to home I might have gone back to give it a go.

Which hill's that?

If your coming into Safron Waldon from Duxford then its a very obvious steep downhill of about 400 yards.

The Lorry was going out of Safron towards M11 and looks to have decided he could not make it and parked at the bottom of the hill.
