XJR may be quicker and I should bloody hope so, the RR isn't made to race around
Plus you will be fecked with a 1cm of snow
And how can you say the interior is just a nice in a p38 then an l322?
Lol
Nice is in the eye of the beholder. Quality is there for all to see and early L322's look as low rent as P38's. Those buttons that work the sat nav look like they came off an Amstrad stereo, although I realize Amstrad were probably around before your time. For info they made cheap stereos and were founded by Alan Sugar.
The computers far Excelled the stereo's
The paint doesn't peel of the plastic in the Jag like it does in the L322.
The Mondeo plastics are better than the L322. Also the JD Power survey shows the new Jag near the top of the reliability table, quite a change for a British car, hopefully TATA are going to work the same miracle with LR productsTake a look at a new jag, 95% ford modeo interior !

Plenty of plastic in the L322, most of it painted rather than self colouredYour exactly right
Modeo has plastic ! Everywhere ! Whereas the L322 is mostly soft leather finishes so of course there going to get worn more than a hard plastic would
Indeed, I know a chap who works at the factory which makes the plastics for all JLR products, plus various other brands, such as Ford. The quality control for Ford parts is higher than JLR. They can get away with a lot when it comes to JLR parts which Ford would say "no, that isn't high enough quality." There are still some interchangeability between JLR and Ford so if Ford reject a part some times they can just re-stamp it and shift it into a JLR batch.Plenty of plastic in the L322, most of it painted rather than self coloured
