2004 TD4 HSE 120k
This question is about oil
ON this forum I read a lot for times this.....The right oil for your engine age?
I use full synthetic 5w 30..Is this the correct oil for my engine age?

I have a td4 with roughly 120000 on the clock as well and I always use 5/30 fully synthetic

I use 5w40 full synthetic in mine, and it definitely runs quieter as a result.

Ditto, 10w40 semi syn std but I like the fact 5w oil gets round quicker on the cold start ups, where most eng. wear takes place.

SO I guess I will continue with 5w30 ....
