Hi,

I have a problem with my oil warning light, the problem is it never comes on even when engine isnt running. ive changed bulb, checked contacts on the back of the clock which comes back around 12v so bulb is getting power, changed oil switch checked cable to switch all seems fine. can i fit a second hand speedo clock cluster incase its the circuit fault as can get them from ebay ?

Thanks

Which model are we talking about if its a p38 if you plug another speedo in you will get odometer incorrect on dash as it stores mileage and must match that stored on becm.

As far as i am aware if the odometer reading is higher than the BECM the highest mileage will be used. Maybe wrong.
