Hi hoping soneone can help.

1.8 petrol 2002 freelander. Oil light flickers occasionally when engine at idle.

it’s just been serviced and hasn’t cured the problem. I’ve also changed the pressure switch. After changing switch it’s deffo not as bad but still comes on.

also the egm light is on. Test says catalyst efficiency below bsnk 1. What’s the best cleaned right run through the fuel

An oil light at idle isn't the end of the world, but it does point to an oil pressure issue with the engine.
What grade oil was used?

If the O2 is showing cat efficiency is low, then cleaning won't help. It means the cat has expired, and needs replacing.

If the engine is worn out, the cat could well be contaminated with burnt oil, which also means it needs replacing.
