OK, recently bought the 200tdi Landy 90, am going though it checking all the oil levels (not got a manual yet) checked all of them except the transfer box, now which is the level? the 22mm spanner-sized plug up near the top (seems a bit high up to me!) or the plug with the square hole, that's half way down the front face of the transfer box . I would go for this, but it looks like it's never been out since new, in fact, it could not even be a plug anyway, upside down, on my back isn't the nicest of positions I've been in.
so guys, which is it?

It's the plug with the 1/2 inch square hole in it, but it's on the back face not the front. Do a search on hear fer the oils used and anundredanone different tricks to get the oil in.

thanks for the confirmation guys, I thought it would be that one, i'll bet it needs some, as that bugger's never been out for a LONG time!

It should be a taper thread an yer 1/2" drive rat**** will fit, so you shunt have any dificulty.
