hi everyone,
i have a disco 2 2004 TD5 and i had the last oil change at the garage around 8000 km ago. untill not very long time the oil level were fine at every check i made (every two weeks) but the last two- three oil checks i made the oil seems to be too full. first i though the car is not leveled but i see its still the situation after parking elsewere... of course i did not add any oil...
Is there a reason for that? can it be any other liquid entering the system?
What sould i do? empty an refill?
thanks...

Diesel probably, I've no experience of the td5 other than what I've seen on here, think it's just seals gone or cracked head maybe.
Someone will be along with better advice I'm sure.

so, after doing some reading i will try to sum it just to make sure i understood correctlly:
first - check the smell of the oil, if it contain diesel i sould try replace the sealers and washers of the injectors. if this is not going to help, i should swich the key on without starting the engine and try to watch and see witch injector is leaking. hopefully, i will find the place of the leak... then, i sould replace the injector with another one from a place that did not leak. again, turn the switch on and this sould tell me if the leak is coming from the injector itself or from the head (please not....)
Can you tell me please what are my chances to avoid head replacment? are the statistics in my favor?

strange thing..... i left the car over night an re-check the oil level. it looks o.k now...
i don't know what to think
perhaps i should change oil and check the level again. i did not smell any diesel but it does not meen anything as i am anosmic
