I haven't used the car for about 2 weeks and today I have found a massive amount of what looks like oil from the middle rear of car - it is still dripping and making mess of road! any ideas whats up?

it's got an oil leak from somewhere

Is car parked on flat ground or on an incline?

have a look under engine cover towards rear of engine drivers side fuel pressure reg prone to leak eventually filling foam cover on gearbox

What model of Disco is it?
Is the oil dripping from the rear axle?

My thinking too, possibly leaky diff pan cover if it's a D1 ... more precise details from OP would be good

Sorry its a 1999 TD5 and parked on slight incline. Had an oil leak last year and got everything changed with new parts etc and has done about 1,000 miles since then.
