Did 100 miles last night and this morning noticed an oil patch. Is dripping from the small vent on the air filter casing. Turbo seems OK and looks like it is coming from the pipe attached the the cyclone thingy. Not had this before. Any suggestions please??

What engine is it and when is the last time you changed the breather? Also what is the crank case pressure like when you remove the oil cap

Its a 200 tdi which was reconned about 3 years ago. Havent ever changed breather but washed it out several years ago. Havent checked crank case pressure, will have a look. Perhaps just put a new cyclone on and see what happens?

You could try flushing it first, if fluid goes through easily then it should be clean enough to let any gasses out without building up a back pressure

Thanks for your help, have changed it for a new one and replaced air filter. Will see how it goes
