nuffink. I got fed up with the coolant pressure getting high again and took it back to the engineering company under warranty. The headgasket turned out to be ok but they had missed 2 cracks when they tested the head previously. So the whole time I've had my landy it's had a cracked head.

We had a similar incident at work a couple of years back. A customer brought their car to us to get the headgasket done. we got the head pressure tested and skimmed and fitted it all back together again. 2 weeks later the customer came back complaining. We stripped it back down to find all was good. when we went back to the engineering company it was found that the head was cracked. We found a secondhand head and they cleaned it all up and renewed everything on it and then fitted it to the vehicle for free.

The number of coolant sensors, fuel coolers expansion caps and thermostats I've been through it mounts up to quite a bit. A temp sensor is £18 and I'm on my 3rd. A fuel cooler is £250 and I've had 4 etc.
