'Morning All,
Having had the manifold off and replaced another two glowplugs, I've found a slight leak of fuel coming from the pump. Has anyone got a pic of the FIP? Those on RAVE don't really show the whole thing. I'm a bit wary of trying to do too much with it (limited ability!) but would like to see where it might be leaking from and if there could be any faulty seals or gaskets that could be done without causing bigger problems. For instance - what is the bolt on the block side body of the pump? etc.

PS Why does it eat glowplugs? Using NGK ones, they're meant to be ok, but I've had five go in two years... Only two gone this time but enough to make it a real bother starting now it's freezing

INjector head or qauntiy housing are the main places they leak trouble is once you replace one seal the others usually follow best just fit a kit and do all of them

Check youtube videos for VP37 injection pump seal. Very informative though its on a VW 4 cylinder diesel engine.
