Complete bar as one end is part of the bar.

Ah spot on it twists freely on joints and slighty side to side so that well be exgurated when its being drove. notice on a bad road with varying cambers constantly correcting steering alot more then anything else iv drove on same bit of road

Drag link is in front of axle from steering drop arm to N/S hub. Track rod is behind axle.

Yeh drag link was right then thanks all other joints seemed okay

Not if it's the one that joins the two front hubs together that is behind the axle and is the track rod. N/S TRE is fixed to rod. O/S TRE is replaceable same with drag link. It is usually the N/S joints that wear the most.

Sorry mate my mistake. Its the one at the back not front. Just been under her to check play in both ends and an anti rollbar bush mabye the knock at my feet? Also corrected tyre pressures had 40 all round done 28 front 38 rear according to book its on 255/60r18 instead of the book 255/55r18 wobble hitting a pot hole at 60 isnt shaking it about like mad.

Anti roll bar links are a lot more likely to be your knock. TREs don't knock.

Yeh il get anti roll bar bushes done too. Wont be the wobble with a pot hole though would it? Il get her jacked up and a 2nd person to rock steering and lever tyres and see what i see

You need wheels on floor, just reach under and put your hand on TREs while someone rocks the steering wheel. You can feel play a lot better than you can see it.

Yeh rock steering on floor and check all steering joints then jack up and lever under tyre and see if owt else aswell to be sure cheers for help il update with what i find

Slight up and down play is acceptable lateral movement isn't.

New fuel filter on. Pulls well goes like stink. Still takes a bit of cranking when hot to start. Its damp where the pipe from filter to pump meets the pump. Mabye sucking in air from there? New engine and pump 30k ago so hopefully not a pump issue and in tank pump is running

Fuel under pressure can't suck air in.

Could suck air in when i turn it off and cause run back though. Does the injection pump work on suction when its started? Or does the in tank pump run all the time?

Fuel lift pump runs when glow lamps are on, when engine is running, or if 1999 or on also when cranking. There is a pressure pump inside injection pump that will suck fuel with duff lift pump. Then you could get air being sucked in past O'rings in fuel filter if you have a stiff NRV in lift pump. Most new lift pumps don't have an NRV. If fuel can get out, air can certainly get in. If you have a weep on connection to pump renew the copper washers and seal it.
