Hi everybody, I have found a seller on ebay who has a 55offset modular rim set on 255/65/16.
Are those 55 offset standard? Because I can't find anything with that offsets in online shops in order to compare with, I can only see ET30 and 25.

Thanks a lot

Can they verify that they are indeed ET+55? sounds quite odd on a 7" wide rim.

To be fair, I have been trying to contact him asking if he can verify that but I ve got no answer so far. I don't know the width yet but I guess it's a 8j rim otherwise would be very stiff.
55 offset is a massive length, isn't it?

57mm is the standard OE offset for D2 OE alloys & the Commercial D2 steel rims.
55mm would be a very odd - even if they mean "additional" 55mm it would be unusual as an additional 30mm (ET 27mm) is more typical if modulars & 55 would require significant wheel arch extensions

OMG it's been my mistake, I didn't realise the ad says 57 offset, so if you say that it's the standard then no problems.
Thanks a lot

Sorry, I edit this post as I haven't realised was answered above, silly me.
Anyway, a 245/75/r16 tyre size, with a modular wheel offset +25 is very noticeable? I mean, I'd be alright with a little offset if that were the case, thanks a lot.
Hi all again!

I rise the thread as I’ll probably order a new set of wheels and tyres for my Disco 2 (to be honest I don’t know whether going for an all terrain’s and keep my standard aluminium wheels or going for a mud terrain’s and modular wheels).
s

Hopefuly I’ll use my new tyres in the off road billing show this weekend.

Sorry for reviving my old thread, I finally neither couldn’t go nor buy new modular wheels but hopefully this is the chance.

I definitely decided to go for a 245/75/16 with modular in stock suspension but I still in doubt about the offset.

I only want a few mm’s offset in comparison to the standard alloys, for example getting the tyres aligned to the wheel arch or slight out would be more than alright.

My initial thought was a 25 mm but talking to a seller last weekend I was told that the 25 offset goes inside even more than the standard and I’d need -25 or even better -35 in order to get those mm I was looking for and I feel more confused than before.

Can anyone share any pictures with a -25 offset or 25 so I can see the actual difference?

Thank you very much in advance.

My D1 has a -30 offset & the arches are 50mm out from the body.....

I will only add that under articulation I don’t have much clearance with 245/75/16 on my D2 facelift. I can’t imagine offset modulars helping but having never run them I wouldn’t know for sure.
