Hi--
I fancy getting some nice aggressive tyres for my Def 90, but aint keen to spend massive amounts- a mate of mine suggested Greenway Machos or Insa Special Tracks. Does anyone know if they're any good or if there's something better?

Not tried em but am well impressed with my BFG muds. Proper traction when it gets sloppy underfoot:D

Large off road re-moulds have a reputation for being somewhat unpredictable on road, the Insa Turbo's especially.

Basically, as with everthing in life, you get what you pay for. Spending more on some mud terrains will mean they have better on and off road performance.

Even if you want some off road play tyres, beware of going too cheap, the first rocky ground you encounter will eat the tyres for breakfast.

I've not had any bother with Bronco Roughriders. They seem to go anywhere the rich kids can go with there 100 quid tyres.

I've got Amazon Mud Remoulds on mine and they're brilliant on and off road.
And only 50 quid each!

I use Colway Ctrax AT (BFG All Terain) and MT (BFG Mud Terrain) and have no probs, not too bad on the road either.
