In a word, Rust!
Sills, Bottoms of A and B posts, boot floor, rear inner wheel arches, floor seams and especialy the rear x-member, look closely around the body mounts.
The chassis don't seem to rot too bad, though I've seen some go a bit crispy either side of the fuel tank and back, look behind the top spring mount cups.
It will have some snot along the bottom of the door seams and rear quarters, just depends on if it's been hidden or not, front leading edge of the bonnet also goes!
Trans should be failrly tight, no strange clonks with gear changes, could have a little syncro wear, not realy a problem, just adds to the experiance! brakes should be good, not require massive pressure to bring the car to a stop, and pull up straight.
The RRC are a nice old tool, just showing their age a little now, try and find one thats been loved, might cost a little more to purchase but could save you both cash and downtime in the long run.
Good Luck!!
