As i say Yella, he's TRYNG to get it up and running for paying and playing, and lessons/experiences too i think, but as is usual, the council are givin' him an 'ard time. They just cannot bare to see folk makin' money, and others enjoyin' themselves can they ey? :rolleyes:

D'ya know the old goat then? He's as mad as a hatter. :D

Believe me. It'll be fanbloodytastic IF, and i must stress IF, it takes off.
I've walked, or should i say slithered, around just a small part of his 'estate', and he's werked damned hard on it with all of his earth movin' gear.
Some of the ditches he's dug look like a real challenge, full of thick slimey crud.
I've got some piccies he emailed me a while ago from a little crimbo bash he had for his mates last year. I'll be hopefully speakin' to him tonight, so i'll ask him if he has any objection to puttin' them on here...IF i can manage it. :rolleyes:

I dunno, but apart from the ruddy council, i would imagine that public liability insurance will be causing him a few headaches too.
Wonder how much THAT would be? :eek:
 
they bin goin all day long for a ton on flea bay lately, besides just come across new problem an its not the need for seats the engines died lol, gettin towed away tomorrow to a friends garage for a diagnostics session ,fingers crossed noticed alot of broken pipes on top of engine badly corroded an a big lot of smoke coming from it today on way home from shoppin had to force the slag home an aint on about her indoors took about 6 times stoppin an starting from the strand so lets just see wat happens hopefuly nothin major .............................................................................................
 
failin that with out bieng a **** like i just was sorry!!! hope ye get a good sale on them craig i no you only sell decent gear from buying from ye in the past if they were to stay around to be purchased on weekly terms a prob say mine lol
 
started with my buying it few months bk ........lol no its bin this cutting out problem then to stalling when accelerating alot then caput wont run starts fine dies when accelerator is pressed poss bad air leakage renew all pipe fuel filters an air mass meter an see if she works then hope so derek love the beast
 
see what your man says if i get a spare min i will have a butchers for yer for all the good points of owning a efi v8 i still prefer the old carbs but does sound like you've nailed it mate a air leak sounds right
 
just hope she breathes for another day lol otherwise its choppy chop strip out an hey presto shes goin good for proper raggin buy cheap engine with th dollar from the bits i sell .............hope it doesnt get that far though
 
she'll be good loadsa life in her yet pratically mint apart from that sill but thats not the end of the world either easily fixed

also got 2 spare air flow meters if yer need to try one, think there are 2 types, i have one of each :D
as regards seats am sure we could come to come arangement ;)
get the fooker on carbs mate, hell of a lot more relaible:p
 
will be in touch fella or give us a call on how ye payments for these seats remember i need to get shut of mine aswell unless they could be used as part payment or does any one wanna buy some near mint luxury seats lol......................................................................................
 
john make him an offer if ye get it al have the wheels an the chrome of it fella go on lad ..............................not as nice as mine but it runs lol

note also mines in land rover centre gettin few things done hopefully get her back tom running bizzarely she started up a1 this morning an got me there b4 there were a hell of a lot of fumes building up in the cab lol
