Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows any off-roading areas in Hampshire preferably near Winchester, Andover or Southampton.

core 4x4 near emsworth, and muddy bottom near ringwood are two i know of

Is Core still there Judge? I thought it had stopped due to the site being sold?

There is a place at slindon west sussex and another one over west sussex way not sure what that one is called?

I feel the need to do another off road day!

Matt

Are you thinking of piccadily wood near bolney in West Sussex?

No Boxgrove was the one I was thinking of. Didn't know there was one at bolney.

yeah Piccadilly wood 4x4 - seems pretty full on from the vids i have seen, they have a website with dates on it.

Picadilly wood is run by Mud Monsters
Slindon (was on today)
Boxgrove pit will be on in 2 sundays time now
Muddy bottom over the other side of new forest

Core 4x4 hasn't been running for a couple of years now!

There is a small network of ByWays between Salisbury and Fordingbridge (place called Downton) which is about 20mins from Southampton, nothing too extreme but is a good place to get a bit of mud on the car :)

@34064, this quarry near Three Legged Cross, whats it like for standard D2's? and is it something you can do by yourself?

Thank I will check them out.

I have a feeling that there is a voluntary closure on them at the moment, there was a few weeks ago but haven't been there since.

Although not Hampshire there is the Salisbury to shaftesbury ox drove although its got voluntary closures on it :(

If you go Matt give me a shout, I've never been there. Also is there still one at Canford? I'm sure there used to be?

Not sure about Canford... Good if there are a couple this way, want a few closer ones to explore when it drys out... Sorry, IF it ever drys out!!
