hello all
has anyone on here found a decent shop for freelander 1 parts
ie: modified off road mods,
i think these land rovers are really losing out for no valid reason
cheers, rich
There are a few bits on the bay. Im looking into the lift kit and 205 80 tyres
Sounds good. Anyone thought about using jeep modulars with the 0 offset?. Woukd be the same as using 35 mm spacers
Jeep wheels are a different PCD so won't fit directly
As said, we do lift kits, guards etc, can find them on eBay (username ctr-88)
I wasnt dissing the Freelander , (I run two) , but just saying that trying to make them Uber capable Off road vehicles , usually ends in a lot of effort for not a lot of improvement , and risks making them less comfortable , and reliable in their major function, and results in damage either quickly or more long term . A bit like trying to make a defender a road rocket![]()
If your looking for a good tyre for use on Freelander , then Cont X contact AT are brilliant , good in snow , and mud , and standing water. They dont wear fast either . , little bit of whine at speed, but a good deep tread . JMHO
Anything from otber makes fit? Eg rav4, fourtrak, suzuki sj, fronteria and such lime if they make anything for these?
Not sure if tbis is right but isnt the rav4 (early ones) pretty much the same as as a freebie 1 under the skin?
