If anyone can suggest some suitable venues in North Kent (or thereabouts) I'd appreciate it - must be non damaging and suitable for a chelsea tractor on road tyres though...

I guess the responses will be along the lines of "plenty of space in the Tesco car park" or "take it round a local school field as thats the best place for a Rangie" etc but hey, you gotta ask!

found this website last night, seems to revolve around greenlaning, only just signed up so don't know if it's any good.
one of the posts mentions a greelane near canada heights / calfstock lane which I guess isn't too far from you as are "just round the corner from dakar 4x4"

Cool - what was the Website?

(round the corner is a slight exaggeration - more like 3/4 of a mile!

I've used them to get me parts and info only (touch wood I've not needed anything major yet) but they seem really switched on.

Reports I've had from various sources have all been good though.

The Rangie will be going there for its next service.

went to the byway next to canada heights today. Looks like it was blocked off a long time ago, only way to get up there is on foot, or possibly mountain bike/horse/motorcross bike.

I've found the other end of calfstock lane on me way past, it shows as a no through road, I'll have a scout next time I'm passing.

calfstock lane is a blow out too. just a narrow country lane that goes to a car park in the woods. no greenlaning to be had there either.

:( :( :(
