Good day all you rovers. Need to replace my brake vacuum pump. Simple question - how do I tell an OEM from a cheap knock off?
Thanks

The price o_O ? Or get one from a scrapyard, if there are such things in your area ? Most of the suppliers over here do specify OEM or aftermarket etc in the parts listing on their website - but I think I know where you are coming from, as it is something of a minefield these days...

Hos about an electric one ? I think it is what I will do when the need arises ...:)

Thanks for all the advice. Still! How would I tell a genuine OEM vacuum pump from a cheap knock off. I have been offered a genuine OEM pump - would just like to be able to verify I am getting what I pay for.

Thanks for that, I have found one here, OEM.
Just need to know what difference there is between a genuine OEM and a cheap copy. Thanks

Between £90 and £290 ? ... I'd go for the Meat&Dora one myself or the STARK ....
