When I bought my 90 defender, I got the dealer to include a spare wheel cover, sadly it didn’t come with it and I’ve been unable to fit the damn thing. Anyone got any tips ?

Take it back,get them to do it.

A soft spare wheel cover? Do you have higher profile tyres than standard? If yes to the above then try fitting with the tyre deflated slightly.

If they were a bit closer, that’s exactly what would be happening and may still do so. They are about 65 miles from here.
