Hi All,

When my wife was waiting for the car(TD4 2001 es) to defrost this morning, i noticed a constant tick/slight knocking noise coming from the O/S rear wheel arch ? it did increase slightly when rev'ed but not in time with the engine rev's just slighty increased, its constant and sounds like a metallic click with a slight knock ?

Any of you know what this is ? should i be concered ?

Sounds like the fuel burning heater,FBH...it comes on at below 5degress..i believe...you might also see a little bit of smoke coming from the same area.
Do a search for FBH and it will tell you all you need to Know.

Fuel pump on its way out perhaps ?
