These tubes go from rear cross member to under the rear wheel arch to bolt the seat belt to.

ALR8527 and ALR8526 These were £67.29 each

There are superseded parts EIO100000 and EIO100010 these are now £103.67

Does anyone know where I could get the ALR ones from? I've tried Paddocks, LRDirect, local LR specialist, Maindealer in Newcastle and Peter Blanchard's

Or, does anyone know if the two part numbers are the same apart from that bar which looks like it could be cut off. Not sure if the rest of the geometry of the flanges, location of holes, length of part etc is the same.

Don't fancy paying £250 if I can help it. :(

could you not take them to a fabricators and get them knocked up? They seem pretty simple

Yeah, that's what I am thinking. The only thing nagging me about it is that it is the seat belt fixture. Am I just being over cautious?

i'd say so. these things are usually bought from the cheapest supplier so a local guy handmaking it should be good.

you could also ask them to use thicker material to beef it up if you want.

hi there,
think i have 2 some where,
+ seat belt fixings seat belts
was going to fit them in 110. change of plan

Cheers tyre man,
I have replied to your PM before I read this post. Got the 'new PM' message pop up when I logged on and went straight to it.

Craddocks are still showing them on their site so I have bought two off there. Probably be sent a refund on Monday :(

Makes me glad I salvaged my old ones just in time. I checked out what new ones would cost and like you I was horrified by the price. Plus, hardly anyone seems to stock them. So I cleaned all the rust off the old ones and gave them about 17 coats of paint. I hope they'll last a bit longer now.

hi Al203
found them, if you get stuck

Awesome, mate. Thanks for going to the trouble. If Craddock's draws a blank I'll be in touch. They look in decent nick.

I presume the 110 ones will be the same as the 90 ones. Mine are just over 40cm long.

A lot of spares have had the prices biffed up since Land Rover changed hands.

For instance, l went to order a rev counter for my TD5 and discovered that the price has been spanked up from £85 to over £300

I told them to keep it lol
