Can anyone tell me where this is as i have a problem that may be caused by it and need to check it. Also how much are they are where best to buy them. (The problem is when driving on motorway, i occasionally get a loss of power and the engine warning light on which is fine when i restart the engine '01 Disco 2.5 tdi) Enda

Location of the oxygen sensor is on the exhaust manifold just where it joins to the down pipe.
Don't know the price but you can get one from most of the parts suppliers advertised in the LR mags or LR themselves.

Your car does not have an oxygen sensor if it is a diesel,you need to get a diagnosis done on Testbook by someone who knows what they are doing.
theres a bloody good guy just outside Bath, I believe. If yu can get there

I believe the engine stated is a Tdi not a TD5.. Then what do I know about smelly diesels not a lot..
