shocker

Going from the metal on metal grind and the heating of disc and fluid I am assumming that the front caliper has a piston siezed in the out position.....now O already got a set of repair rubbers....do I nip to the scrappers, get another whole caliper, servive and whack it on...or take the current encumbent off after ordering new pistons and service and fit that?
To bear in mind...I live in a rural location 5 miles plus from town, both me and wife disabled/ill,its my only working car so canr afford to be off road more than a day or so......
advise quickly please as the scrappys shut at 4
flustered shocksi
