Disco rod

hello from down here... Just bought a disco 2004 here in NZ. There is not a lot of landrovers here as the market is full if the usual Japanese suspects.... As I was brought up on an estate in the Grampian region of Scotland. Learned to drive in an old land rover. Spent a lot of time on those aluminium bench seats in the back covered in wet dogs. beating for pheasants and grouse.
I will be hoping for any advice with things which know doubt will come up parts over here are very expensive. I am happy to answer any questions on the out doors we have to offer here. I understand this is not a travel site but I do alote of fishing and hunting over here and i at last I have the correct transport for the job. And it's nice to have a bit of home to sit in.
Looking forward to meeting you all.

Thanks were can I find help in finding about a second key for my discovery. Nz Land Rover want $400 bucks for one. I have seen some refurbishing kits on eBay I wonder if anyone in the uk can help. Also I'm looking for information on what to kit it out for an exploration vehicle as its going to be used for the back country camping.
Is the standerd suspension air system good enough or problematic.

If you get a spare key you will need to code the car to accept it, for this a nanocom is a good idea. I purchased an old key and then put the electric inside a new body with a freshly cut key blank.

Cheers

Not sure what a nanocome is might be a bit futuristic for nz. Will find out. Thanks for your support.
