The number plate light has decided to work when it wants to, have cleaned the contacts but no permanent joy. Replacements don't seem available is there a suitable replacement does anyone know?

MOT due in a month.....

I've had this on two previous Freelanders - it's not the spade connectors but where the male spades are riveted to the tracks. Sandpaper them a bit and use a decent sized soldering iron to put a big blob of solder connecting the two.

Only available with the handle - £90.......

Oh dear.
Ouch..... I've just bought a second hand handle off eBay for my project. The number plate lamp is just two bulbs that push and twist into a pcb which has the troublesome spade connectors on -as I'm sure you will have seen. I'm tempted to replace mine with some sort of Leds from eBay and solder the lot up so no more connection issues. Maybe some 5w5 types.

I've got a complete lamp, it's out of my old rear handle that fell apart and a bit grubby…

You are welcome to it, if it'll help…
