Yes it can be harsh living in the hostile wastelands of 'the north.' My cousin in Aberdeen has to leave his landy permanently running, if he switches it off for even a minute the fuel in the tank will freeze....
I live by the coast in an inhospitable place called 'Lancashire' where the weather is so extreme even a short drive down the promenade at Blackpool results in my inner wings rotting from all the salty spray.
Only last week my Brother was working down t'pit in a harsh barren place called 'Cardiff' and when he came up after his shift had finished, he found his Disco had filled with rain water right up to it's extended breathers, that's why nobody lives in Wales anymore you see, he's one of the last few remaining.
It's probably best you avoid travelling at all to these remote wilderness places of the UK if you don't want to get your baseball cap wet.
