Hi All,

I keep seeing the freelander nudge bars on ebay and am quite tempted.
Can anyone tell me how easy they are to fit and does it involve drilling holes in the bumber?

thanks

rob.

Drilling holes in the WHAT!!

Ah of course...freelander..

I've seen a few of these as well and am tempted to get one.

Just make sure you get the right one to fit (i.e. pre/post Facelift).

The ones I've seen just bolt straight on and there doesn't appear to be any drilling involved.

:) Hi,if your talking about the black rubber type "A" bar,on a pre facelift model you need to cut 2 holes in front bumper.Landrover thought of this option in advance and there is a template on the inside if the bumper as to where to do the cut out. Also there are 2 brackets that bolt to your bumper there should be a template in the kit if your buying new. They fit using "rivnuts" which in my opinion are "SH%^E" drill all way through bumper and us longer bolts. These 2 brackets when fitted protrude the holes you have cut in bumper.Otherwise rest if fitting is quite straight forward. However if your looking for the facelift "A" bar they simply fit to front bumper using screws and bolts that come in the kit.Instead of using the fittings supplied in my kit,i removed my bumper and fitted "A" bar using nyloc nuts in the event someone took a fancy to it a wanted to nick it cos they are very simple to remove.:)
