what a bastardised pile of crap owner should be shot!

further how does that conglomeration of random body panels
add up enough points to retain that plate without the original
chassis or engine?

Agreed,

About the bastardising bit, i dont know enough about 'hybrids' to quote the points system.

Why when there is only 130 left would you do that to it!? Defender heritage centre my arse!

indeed.

don't remember the rules myself but of the top of my head
i seem to remember all the major assemblages are allocated
a number of points and to count the total needs to
reach a certain number.

but as i recall unless you have two off either
engine+gearbox or bulkhead or chassis or axles

you will have no chance of meeting the score other body panel's and interior bits count for little.

i would be very surprised if the number of (counting) components
of this motor add up to enough.
too many S2 n S3 bits bodged onto it.
i especially loathe the shortened 109 roof plonked on and a FEKING MAZDA
DIESEL FFS now a tdi or at least a rover engine i could understand.

I like it, shame to see a classic butched they would have been better off modding a 110 but folk are doing similar stuff to s3s when really they're a classic now too. Wonder what condition the original vehicle was in, if it was completely trashed then at least they've saved one, although not original.

read that last sentence back to yourself and think about what you
said trigger.

Really hope it sells at that price - all it's doing is pushing up the value of our '49 S1 - in original condition :D

But really, £13k for an un-finished, butchered project??? Maybe he hit the 1 key by accident and actually meant to list it at £3k, that would be more realistic, if not a tad expensive.

Hey, the seller's got 100% feedback...must be good for something.....Oh, hang on, that's only from 3 buyers... :D
