All,

nothing major, I'm just sooooo happy my 1994 Disco past the MOT, granted I have to re-weld the fuel tank support brace on but she past....

I'm so glad that my two days cleaning a waxolying the chassis paid off.......

Happy days..:D

am stiil wondering when having a clean chassis was part of the mot, fook it it wur lik ethat over here i'd never get mine past the CC. as it is the eggzminger sed it wur in fine shape fer its age. then he took his eyes orf the doris and went and looked at the car.

Thanks for the notes...very kind.....Slob, your embedded picture appears to really to sum you up.

Have a good evening gents.

i figure it pays to give ya motor a bit of love before the mot, my other runabout a boring mondeo failed on corroded front to rear brake lines, turned out it was years of road crap stuck to em that made it look like thery wuz ****ty, got me brother in law to take a look he works for bmw, one steam clean later it passed its mot!

Musta been a lazy tester who couldnt be arsed to poke around :)

i dunt beleive that, i give mine a right good clean before i took it for test, and then that bastard stig failed it ;)

I was just please......I gave the chassis a right good clean and inpected it, and too my suprise she was rock solid, so I decieded to treat her to some waxoly, now I know she will stay solid for quite sometime......

Yes it does pay to look after your car.....I have already replaced all the brake lines on my disco with copper quite sometime ago.

my disco was 16 years old and the xhassis was as good as new, its the bits that are attatched to it that rot, very few disco's have rotten chassis
