I know there are lots of threads on actuators but mines strange... my passenger door super locked and i replaced it with a lock with a different plug, so il need to change that. But the drivers door works with the key and the central locking works on two rear doors and boot. Strange bit to me is that on the remote button the 2 rear doors open but the drivers door and boot dont. Does this sound like the actuator? Can it be repaired or just replaced?
Thanks

Boot is via the drivers door so if that doesn't open, nor will the boot. If you are losing actuators, check your RF receiver.

I'm willing to be corrected but I think that the front doors operate through outstations but the rear doors are powered directly from the BECM. I don't know if this will help but . . . .

I had my rf receiver changed just before the passenger door went, i might have the door cards off to examine the wires, seem like that could be cheaper than getting involved with the becm!
Thanks chaps

Very unlikely to be BECM IMO unless the footwell is wet. Locks were probably damaged by the old RF receiver and have subsequently failed.

I would get the connector issued sorted on the front passenger door before trying to diagnose problems with the drivers door. The latches aer prone to having water get in to them and you can have numerous differnt problems with them. I've never reworked them but there are numerous threads on this forumn where people have succesfully reworked them including changing the microswitches.

Im going to try hardwire in a new actuator seen as there's plenty of room, does anyone know what colour wires i need to splice into? Thanks

Have you got a nano check acuators or power to them.
Could be just the wires have come adrift with door slamming or corrosion as mentioned , if its a differnt connector block are the wires routed properly ?
