Hi all.......bought my D2 v8 earlier this year and am still very chuffed with it....however it has a very small weep from the ace pipe work at the front end.

Has anyone found anywhere seelling any kind of diy section kit for this yet rather than replacing all of the pipework...

Any help appreciated.

Cheers, Nick.

Hi.

As we are generally a clever and inventive bunch i wondered if anyone had done this repair in a diy style. The garage in question has a kit for £80 odd which seemed quite reasonable but i just wondered if anyone had done it already with any success.

The first leading non-franchise dealer said the body had to come off so i thought it might be worth an ask on here.

Cheers, Nick.

it is possible to braze them , i know that for sure as we did it a couple of months ago, it took longer to get the pipes off than to fix them! it was the rear pipes we did and was really a two man job to un-plat them from the chassis.
