Went out today to change the oils my 110, Drained the gearbox, and only about a litre came out, I thinks to myself 'thats not good'.

Anyway, using the 1 litre bottles of ATF, I cracked on filling up the g/box.
I only managed to get about half a litre in before it came ****ing out of the filler plug. Thinks to myself 'thats not right'.
Left it for 20 minutes to 'settle down'.
Tried again to get some more in, but no joy.

In the end, I jacked the front up as high as I could, and managed to get in total 1 and a half litres.

What am I doing wrong?
cheers

overfilling your gearbox by the sounds of it.

Right, slightly confused,
If you fill the main gearbox and extension case from the main gearbox filler hole, why is there a filler hole on the extension box?
