just whip the sender unit out and get a hose in there that's what I'd do
You need to supply a live to 86 the relay trigger pin. this can be done with a small piece of wire slid into the teminal block
just got to find a live source close by now
I had a fuse that kept blowing for the horn, I found a thick piece of wire and crimped a spade connecter to each end and plugged it in where the fuse went, can you bridge the relay like that

Yer right Tweets, but as a general rule its probably best where lectrics are concerned to find out whats makin the fuse blow.
