You need to supply a live to 86 the relay trigger pin. this can be done with a small piece of wire slid into the teminal block

do i do this with the realy still in place? located the right relay now, thanks adz.

I had a fuse that kept blowing for the horn, I found a thick piece of wire and crimped a spade connecter to each end and plugged it in where the fuse went, can you bridge the relay like that


You can bridge it like that Tweets but best just connect one end so you can switch it orf ;)

You might want to find why yer fuse is blowin rather than put a thick wire in and risk startin a fire anorl :eek:

It was only for the horn, and the length of time anyone really uses a horn I doubt it would catch fire, anyway, that car is long long gone got wrote off in an accident

Have you tried extending the fuel return pipe into a container and starting the engine. The unburnt fuel should drain into the container instead of going back into the tank.
