os land rangers 1:50,000 ive got 5 of em for round and about think ive got pritty much all lanes marked down on em ive got northallerton and ripon, malton and pickering, leeds and bradford, sheffield and huddersfield, and york but that one is ****

yeh i realised after i wrote it, im a bit slow haha, let me know when your guna go check em out, i will come with you, i know were one in scholes is, didnt know there were any near hazelwood castle, i only live 5 mins away from there aswell

Sorry to miss the Holmfirth trip, where did you go? I took my Pug 406 round Yeatholm res and up the track to the road up to the top. It made it and the exhaust didn't drop off for a couple of weeks.

Interested in Ambleside too, I will have a look round next W/E when I'm sailing up there, rece the possibilities.

Is there a WWW site to look Lanes up on?
 
Yep, saw trailwise mentioned on here. Bin and had a look but they wanted me to log on/register with a pass key from an affiliated club or somat. I'll do a search to see if I can get one (pass key) without too much hassle otherwise I'll just look at an OS map and see if I can work out which whites look promissing.

Or I could just tag along with someone who knows what they are doing :)

I dug a bit further and managed to do the 3 klick search OK. Thanks for the pointers.
I suppose it's like sex in that it's better doing it with someone else. I'll see what comes up in the not too distant.
 
2 of us are up for laning on the 9th.both in land rover 90ties.so thats coatsy and myself,is their a new list on the go.if so add us both..cheers

ime with lancaster(fully comp) even payin through installments its still cheap,and states on cover insured for non competive off road use and greenlaning

a mcD would be good but cant find one in right area...

google tells me im goin outta leeds through headingley, past otley and straight north to pateley bridge...
