My CB has arrived! Hooked it up last night, went up Jeffrey Hill and found out it receives fine, but no idea how it transmits yet. The people I managed to listen to were probably too far way - some sounded Welsh.
As long as it works out to a mile or two then it'll be fine for gate-describing purposes
