tbh, unless you spend megabucks, a cheapo set will do just fine, spend the extra bit on an extension speaker so you can actually hear whats being said

not sure on prices of new stuff, I bought all my kit used off fleabay, just bought a "new" CB for £40, aerial, a cheap springer is about £20, then it depends on where you wanna mount it.
mines on me front bumper with a 6" thunderpole a short springer will give plenty of range for laning with if you wanna roof mount.

Igot my full cb setup off ebay frpm thunderpole for £65 inc free next day delivery. And works spot on. Juat remember to set it up on uk frequency.
