rudland rigg is excellent mate well worth the look out I did it earlier this year but with alll the rain its more technical to what it was as its down to bedrock now :eek:

I did the Rigg about 4 weeks ago. We were lucky, nice sunny day but the rock steps at the northern end were quite tricky for me as a sort of experienced amateur in a bog standard Series 2a 109. The heavy rain has washed the infill out from the rocks so it is a bit more hazardous than the last time I did it about 3 or 4 years ago. Having said all that, it's a great run and I would do it again.
 
yep.. flooded fords, flooded fields, flooded lanes!

simmi lost rear brakes, blew a piston in rear drum.. had to clamp flexi pipe to get him home..

kawak blew yet another diff, front one this time, had to winch downhill to get off lane. took front prop off but it got noisier and noisier on way home so he had to take back roads from harrogate..

i stuffed to whole right hand side of mi motor, tipped over so far i was leaning on banking, had to keep going forward, ripped bumper corner off. can't open offside rear passenger door..

was great fun... need to find someone breaking a 97 blue disco xs..

matt got stuck goin down a lane at end of day..

blew front diff n had to winch down the lane to get out of way so i could get past an tow him out...
 
i ring mat last night how lost their towing pin we got it from the river crossing at the three foot crossing on the vid that is on it side
