Made it home! :D

Massive thanks to Ratty for Fuel, Superglue and Carb Cleaner (Just as i we were pulling into the drive i found it and realised i forgot to give it back :eek:), MHM for organising the day, Thainy for a tow and Everyone else for there patience and for making it a good day out!

Looking forward to the next laning trip out already, And hopefully next time the fuel won't end up on the floor :eek:

May i say thank you to The Mad Hat Man for arranging this outing. Sorry we didnt complete the whole day, we lived just down the road from the lane after lunch, Turns out mum had some jobs for us that i, um, 'forgot' about.

I hope the newbies had a good intro to Hampshire lanes and that Ratty and Boomer have a safe trip back.

Wow i have just got in!! What an Awesome day my first and definatly not my last. I started the day with a shinyish scratch free RRC LSE i finished the day with a very very scratched exterior and very dusty interior RRC LSE. I dont care about either as it in my opinion it made the day and boy what a day it was. A big shout out to and in no perticular RATTY, MHM, RUSTY and CO driver, BOOMER, & everybody else whos names i cant for the life of me (god am i really getting that old) remember. I think iam right in saying? It goes with out saying i think that part of it being so a good day for us was the organisation and leaders etc I will write a better thingy with pics tomorrow I am knackered as been up since 03:45 so off to bed for me i thinks.

A big thanks again to all for making my first greenlane day so enjoyable

Roll on the next one i cant wait :)
 
just want to say a huge thankyou to everyone involved today. for showing us the lanes, arranging the day and for making us feel so welcome. some really cool, well planned, lanes and nice and relaxed. all round an awsome outcome id say. not sure if i was doing it right but made it so looking forward to the next lane! need an excuse to test my winch!

dont think so. maybe just trying to kill adies then :violin: i learnt a lot today. on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being nothing and 10 being the limit of my truck. what would you rate the hardest parts of today as? and what would u rate the stuff u do more often as?
 
would really love to try some hard stuff but supervised a bit closer so i know im doin it right.

Bet when yu went over that first hill, you didnt think you would be doing the boneshaker?
 
i think the boneshaker was my fav part of the lanes. 1 boneshaker 2 that off camber hill climb and 3 was the very end where we was banked over steep. jess was sat on the window at one point doing that bit
 
Evening all. I got in about 15 mins ago. Had to make a detour on my way home to pick up some waffleboards.

Cheers for sorting out the trip and leading us around the lanes MHM, Redwings and Rusty rangie.

It was good to meet some new faces and also to catch up with some old ones.

Don't worry about the carb cleaner Mseries3. It hasn't got that much left in it anyway;). I'm glad you got yer landy home ok. Did it stop dripping as the fuel got lower or did it carry on regardless?
 
No leaks when we got it home but i have put a container under it anyway :)

Seemed to develop a oil leak on the way home aswell, Looks like it is coming from the rear main :doh:
 
Glad to hear it Ratty. no news yet from Boomer.

A word of warning for any laning ladies - when going for a pee, watch out for stinging nettles :D:rolleyes::bolt:
