Hi mate, fitted the wheels properly today at work, all clear on lock-to-lock and not heard any rubbing or catching so far. They are noisy though! No need for spacers with the ET35 offset on the modulars. Just a lift to do now and it will be ready for some action. Looks the part now though...

Very nice, love the colour.
Did you try measuring from the centre of the wheel straight up to the wheel arch yet? Would be interesting to know the difference.

I measured from the floor up to the wheel arch and I have gained approx inch and a half in height with these tyres compared to when I had the 18s on with road tyres. I love the look of it now, just have to get used to the noise of them! Sounds like all four wheel bearings are shot!

Where did you get the wheels? I've seen a few for sale but the offset wasn't mentioned or the hub size.

I got these ones, bargain price too, they are the same as the ones I have fitted. They are 16x7 ET35 5x114.3 so will fit straight on and the offset means you don't need to use spacers. You can then run 235/70 or 225/75 tyres on these wheels, i went for the widest option I could run.

That's a good price but they don't post to Northern Ireland. Unfortunately lots of mail order companies refuse to post to NI or charge silly money for carriage.

That's a bit of a bugger then, is it just really expensive to post to NI then?

Pretty much. :p
The exchange rate isn't very favourable at the minute so would be no cheaper.

What is the Pound rate against the Potato at the mo ? ;)

(or as it is known in financial circles) - the Southern Provinces Unified Dollar (SPUD), or the Centralised Republic of Ireland System of Purchase (CRISP)

Also, I would have thought things might have improved after the South's unique version of 'Quantitative Easing' (emergency planting of an extra 1,500,000 acres of Potatoes) .... tum te tum te tum....

:D

LOL, you can laugh but the ROI turned their economy round from being almost bankrupt a few years ago to being thriving again.

Spuds an all.
