Other than decent tyres you don't need anything. Most of the "off road" stuff is for fashion victims.

Go offroading with your landy as it is and then see wot YOU feel you need, Not what people tell you you need.

Not essential but a cb is is a useful bit of kit

Thanks folks, you really know how to make a guys wallet feel good. I'd been rooting through the old folks loft the other week and found a full CB set up I had in the early 80's AND it still works. I normaly carry a small selection of ratched straps, strops and shackles as you never know when they'll come in handy.
