Hi there I have a 05 td4 when accelerating getting noise and vibration through steering wheel . When driving in normal traffic ok on motorway the noise starts

Had this problem also,can you feel the vibration through the gearstick when accelerating under load ?If so,suggest checking the front driveshafts.I had a replacement pair fitted and no more vibration. they are available on e bay at a reasonable price.

It's called an engine! Unusual for it to be working on a Freelander I grant ye, but yes 'tis normal to expect noise and vibration from an internal combustion engine.

If in doubt, jerry can and matches will solve all problems.

check wheel nuts, then wheel bearings, then driveshafts, then post back
