When I release the key on my Disco td5, the engine starts normally, then straight after (for only 1 or 2 seconds) there is a noise from somewhere behind the dash or bulkhead area. It sounds like a relay chattering. It appears to be associated the the starter motor. I'm not familiar with the starting system. Any ideas what it may be?........electrical?....mechanical?

It's your abs self testing ,they all do it mate some louder than others ,it's nothing to worry about
