Hi all,

Apollogies if you have posted and resolved this before, I see many answers buy Im hoping my additional info might point me to a specific failing part instead of the long process of replacing everything

So the typical wheel wobble from 60mph ish up to over 80mph, thing I noticed though was when at the same speed i enter a corner left or right the wobble stops, as soon as I straighten up again the wobble starts

Any help would be greatly appreciated, the wobble is driving me mad and Im normally pretty good at finding the faults, Grrr.

Had the wheels ballanced twice, swapped from front to back as well, given all the drive shafts a tug etc

Cheers Sam

How old are the tyres? Have you got the ones with the greatest circumferance at the rear? Could be wheel bearings.Have you had the car in the air and checked for movement in the front wheels?

Wheel bearings, no I havnt checked plus I cant hear any rumbling noise but I will check

Tyres are new and ballanced twice, swapped back to front etc, havt checked track rod ends either (hang on when I had te new tyres fitted the fitter did note that he had to add some heat to the TR ends to get them loose/adjust) maybe I should check these again this weekend!

Thanks for the replys Sam

Are you sure its coming from the wheels, the front cv joint that fastens the prop to the IRD can cause the same symptoms, just get hold of front section of prop and see if you have any lateral or rotational play. Bad news is you can not get the joint any more and have to replace the front section of the prop.
Other way is to drop the prop off and take it for a spin.

Update:

Planned to check all of the above this weekend, didnt of course  but what I did do was clean out the ERG valve (quite mucky) scrapped out the inlet manafold as best I could (was a good 10mm thick in muck)and fit a Probitz tunning module (which was supplied loose when I purchased the car) Result, runs nicer, smoother and then in a bazzar way NOW NO WHEEL WOBBLE !

I know I have a problem with number 2 injector, which was giving me a lumpy idle but I also read some where that a missing engine can cause wobble in the steering!

So I am assuming my work over the weekend combined with the differnt fueling from the Probitz box has helped with the misfire hence no wobble.

So 2 things for me, happy ive lost my wobble and confused to how I did it, which ever the outcome is good so far :)

thanks for all your help fellas Cheers Sam
