Hello folks,

Went to view a Td5 Defender 90 yesterday, been thinking over night and remembered it had no side decals behind the front wheel arches... it is on a 04 plate... is this usual? or is this a sign of a damage repaired, resprayed etc ??

All help appreciated.

Checked both sides and no side had the Td5 decals... started looking online at other Td5's on an 04 plate seems some dont have the decals...

Where would one get exact information on this??

Take it with a pinch of salt.

There's easier ways of finding out if it has had panel damage.

Personally speaking though, by and large, I don't care too much about damage. I care about the quality of the repair.

what are we clairevoyants now

obviously an 04 plate will be mint not a scratch on it ,never been offroad, never been dented and never been painted, what are you looking for a mint one?..buy a new one

My 1985 county which was born with a petrol engine now has a 200 TDI and some prat put TDI stickers on it. My point is that does it really matter if it has stickers or not? Did you look in the front, does it have a TD5, do you really want a TD5, is the chassis a mess, is the bulhead rusted to nuts.....its not a porsche, its a landy FFS man

Had my 03 110 from new. It had no TD5 stickers on the wing, I think it depends on whether the colour is customer specified, hence painted to order or not.
Mike.
