Hi people,
I have just bought a 1999 discovery 2 TD5. Looks real nice and I don't think it has been off road in it's life.
Has lots of little problems ( the three amigos, And the rear suspension was dragging on the bump stops on the way home).
Turns out the rear air bag compressor is cactus and the guy before me put an air valve in the compressor box to pump it up... ( It works!)
I am taking it in on Monday to have a sensor replaced and the shuttle
valve modified.
I washed the wheel arches today and now it wont turn over. Battery is fully charged . Turn key and all I get is a click probably from the starter motor but no cranking just the click. It is an auto.
I was wondering if any of you learned men and women have any ideas.
I was just starting to love this beast, I hope the Prince of Darkness has not visited me!
Any of you constructive suggestions would be welcome.
Regards Nick.

check connections on starter ,you may need soleniod kit from ebay to fix permantley as contacts commonly burn out ,theres a plate on solenoid you can remove which has a rubber seal it may be fitted wrong allowing water in when cleaning
