Evening All!

1995 300tdi 110 Stationwagon: We've had a fair bit of rain the last few days and today, when about to drive home from work, I noticed my dash headlight lamp wasn't on (it was definitely on this morning!). I then noticed my main headlights were working but no front side lights or rear lights. Brake lights work ok plus main beam is ok.

I recently had to replace the pink relay behind the dash so I know that is ok. Checked all the fuses and all 4 bulbs and they are ok.

I've ordered a new main light switch to see if it's that but I don't know what else I could check?

How do I check the main light switch. I have a meter.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I occasionally get this with my 110, the dash lights and side lights (front and back) are all on the same circuit.
The issue with mine is the light switch, if I wiggle it the side lights return.
I suspect that your problem lies with the light switch as well.

Yes, my thoughts as well. I've ordered one so I hope it's that!

When you check the fuses, check for resistance as well as continuity. A few years ago I had some electrical problems and all the fuses semed OK, but with a meter it became clear that one of them had develpoped a resistance of 70 ohms.

Well, received the new switch today and that fixed it!
